About this artwork
In this acrylic expression, I've captured the raw, untamed spirit of nature. The robust strokes and vivid contrasts channel the fierce energy of these noble creatures, kindling a flame of inspiration and freedom. Created with a blend of fine art and art brut aesthetics, this piece radiates a presence that is both grounding and liberating, a true celebration of the wild and unbridled essence that courses within us all.

« In my art, I like to capture beauty in mundane objects and places. »
Karla Rothmann is a German painter whose bold and unique works have been exhibited in solo and group events nationally, as well as in the Netherlands and the United States. The inspiration from her varied compositions originates from her everyday life experiences. Rothmann has always loved horses and cities, with both often represented in her paintings. She favors the use of intense colors and creates with acrylics on canvas.
