A pattern roller print that pulls over the young woman. Or does the pattern from her sweater grow into the background?
A young woman in a sweater and loose trousers stands with her arms folded loosely to the viewer. Her face, framed by smooth, half-length hair with a pony, tilts her slightly to her right side. She smiles hesitantly and relaxed. The person is almost life-size and thus offers the viewer a counterpart.
She stands in front of a patterned… wall. The floral pattern seems to wander over her sweater, which she does not seem to notice.
The floral pattern is printed with a pattern roller with which my grandfather embellished his living-room walls in the 1970s.
