About this artwork
In my work I combine figurative representation and surrealism. The look is directed forward, uncertain but hopefully decorated with floating color accents that radiate a lightness and mysticism. This image is intended to create in the viewer the idea that the next step, although unknown, is full of vivid possibility.

The woman is wearing a blue-grey dress… with ruffled details. She has loose, shoulder-length and slightly wavy hair. Her hair seems to be illuminated by a pink glow. These magenta accents are reflected in the edge of the canvas, which is also painted. This colored painting allows the picture to be hung without a frame. Framing is of course still possible. Signed and dated on the back
