About this artwork
It took me half a year to complete this abstract painting. It features numerous rich layers and intricate details, all hand-painted and drawn. To paint the small elements and patterns, I sometimes used Japanese and Indian inks. The piece is influenced by Persian, Moorish, and Arabic art and culture.
