About this artwork
This work serves as the conceptual heart of the "Metallic Blue Gelatins World" series. It is an extreme macro study that strips away the familiar form of a lily, transforming it into a biological abstraction. The dark, velvety reproductive organs of the flower stand in stark contrast to the electric blue petals, creating a sense of organic tension.
The Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Metallic paper adds a layer of surrealism here; the highlights on the petals… shimmer like liquid metal, while the shadows seem to pull the viewer into a deep, gelatinous void. It is an exploration of the hidden, metallic pulse of nature.
The image is printed with a 1 cm white border for elegant framing and handling.
