About this artwork
I’ve always loved defining the unique character of a dog’s face with bold, bright stripes—it brings such personality and movement to the canvas. Lately, I’ve started moving away from plain backgrounds and adding vibrant, colorful layers behind the subject. It’s my way of giving the painting more depth and emotion, while letting the background compliment the dog’s energy. It feels like the piece tells a fuller story now.
