I met this marvellous stallion in the sea in the Camargue. It is one of a pair of pictures.
In this one he is rearing up and eager to get out of the cold waves which are rolling in behind him, and splashing around his feet.
The short row of rocks behind him gives a sense of place.
The Camargue is an unusual area of France with a sense of magic and mystery. It is one of the few wild places where horses can be found loose on the beach.
This is the… framed version of the print which is also available unframed.
The frame is black wood with a slight grain
