About this artwork
The painting from a series of abstract works. Here, as in my previous works, I am inspired by the principle of symmetry.

Russia
« The point is to make a real discovery in visual art. »
Katerina Borodavchenko created her first crucial work of art while pregnant with her first child. It was very symbolic for the painter who was born in Kazakhstan, she had created a new life as well as a new form of artistic expression. Through her art, Borodavchenko explores human anxieties and fears, as well as defensive poses reacting to the ‘powerful and inevitable stream of brutal reality’. Her contemporary realistic works combine traditional techniques with new formats.
