About this artwork
Oil on linen and jute canvas
This metaphysical painting explores the eternal tension between light and darkness — a poetic meditation on the triumph of good and the exile of evil. Created with oil on linen and coarse jute, the surface bears strong, raw textures and deep, intense colors. Dark tonalities dominate the composition, revealing a world in turmoil, yet striving toward clarity. Abstract forms emerge like forces in conflict, embodying a silent… spiritual battle. The painting invites the viewer to witness an inner transformation — where darkness is not denied, but transcended.

Art has been my lifelong path. I studied Fine Arts in Italy and at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki, graduating with distinction, and pursued a Master’s degree in Painting and Printmaking. My work, exhibited across Europe, the United States, and Moscow, has been honored with international awards, including the Leonardo da Vinci Prize. Using oil and cement on canvas, I seek to shape raw emotion into poetic landscapes, preserving memory and the silent echoes of human resilience.
