About this artwork
Reflections is my vision of an abstract city — vibrant, alive, and full of rhythm. I imagined a skyline not as rigid architecture, but as emotional color blocks, rising and melting into one another, like memories reflected in water.
This piece captures the energy of a city in motion — the lights, the contrasts, the shifting sky, and the pulse beneath it all. Using acrylics and palette knives, I built the scene layer by layer, letting bold colors… and vertical movement define the composition.
The mirrored lower half creates a dreamlike effect, blurring the line between what's real and what's imagined. To me, this painting is about how places hold feeling — how a city can reflect not just light, but emotion.
