About this artwork
How wonderful it is sometimes not to know what's coming next. Pisces have the gift of radiating complete serenity in the moment. I enjoy it every time.
My driving force is the insatiable fascination with capturing abstract visual scenes photographically.
My artistic joy lies in isolating motifs in unusual scenes and composing them into a special work within the image.
I use methods of abstracting painterly color worlds, light and shadow, capture… them photographically and then edit them digitally until they appear perfect to me.
Then, in collaboration with a small print shop, I print, usually with color pigments, often metallic pigments because they shine so beautifully, and ink and acrylic onto a precious metal plate. Afterwards, I work on them with various colors and other materials until I am satisfied with the result.
A glow. I feel myself becoming part of the effect; a space is created...
