In my sculpture, plastic, textile and paper merge to form a dynamic wall composition. It reflects a world full of energy and movement and tells of the perseverance of the spirit. The blue tones are vibrant; they pulse like the sea that surrounds us and within us. This sculpture will be a powerful, inspiring element in any room, reminiscent of the enduring power of life.

Artist Katharina Forster was born in Ruhrgebiet in 1979. She continued her studies at the Ruth Prowse Art School in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2010, where she lived and worked for several years. In 2013, she moved back to Werder near Berlin, where she participated in numerous exhibitions and organized public art events.
