One of Kathryn's most recognisable and collectable compositions that has been revisited over the 30 years of her professional career. In fact the first original painting in this series was painted before she had flown and was bought by a pilot who wanted to enjoy it through his retirement. This arial view awakens the pilot or bird in all of us.

Kathryn Thomas is a prizewinning British artist who has exhibited throughout the UK. Her paintings are inspired by the changing moods of natural phenomena: sometimes defined, sometimes hazy horizons, shades of dark and light, both cloudy and cloudless skies. Creating soft color combinations and engaging blurring effects, she seeks ultimately to create the most achingly beautiful paintings possible.
