The Crossing explores the fragile courage it takes to leave familiar isolation behind. Liberation is not a grand gesture, but an awkward, tender act: climbing, reaching, helping, trusting. It begins the moment one dares to step out—and another dares to make room.
What is left behind remains visible, a quiet trace of former roles, habits, and identities. But these absences are… not losses; they are openings.
Connection here is not static—it is movement. A crossing from separation into uncertainty, where nothing is fully resolved, yet something essential has shifted.
