About this artwork
In this acrylic painting, I experimented with dark and earthy tones to create an atmosphere full of depth and mystery. The abstract structures invite reflection and emotion, bringing both calm and strength. It's intended to imbue your space with a warm, yet intense energy that invites you to linger and dream.
Katrin Dübbers is a self-taught painter working with pastels, acrylics, ink, and mixed media. She grew up in Heidelberg and now lives in the Lüneburg Heath. Her techniques range from photorealistic animal portraits to abstract compositions and minimalist landscapes, constantly experimenting with reduction and playful lightness. Through her play with colors, light, shadows, and textures, she aims to create harmony and open up a space for calm, movement, and personal associations.
