About this artwork
This marble disk is a sample for the documentary art project “Spring 2022”, which represents a partial aspect of current global political events as part of a stone archive. Without exception, the first headline of one of three daily newspapers published worldwide is shown. This item contains a headline from the New York Times. This was artistically prepared typographically and applied by screen printing onto a circular white marble disc.
Put together… your own gallery. A single headline marble slice or a series of headline marble slices can be ordered. From the New York Times, from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, from Pravda, or from all three newspapers, for example three headlines on one disc each from the same day or from several days in a row.
The headlines of the three newspapers are available from January 1st, 2022 to the present.

Katrin Süss is an experienced multidisciplinary artist based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Spain and the United States. Employing materials both conceptually and thematically, her works explore a "universal view of things", as well as relationships in our coexistence. For Süss, circles and spirals are a means through which to physically experience the elemental force of the principles of order.
