Katrina's journey is marked by a deep passion for design and genuine craftsmanship. At 14, she began designing on her first Macintosh computers and completed an internship in an agency and advertising technology department. After training as an assistant and studying design, she co-managed textile printing businesses in Hamburg. In 2013, she became self-employed in graphic design and advertising technology. In 2020, an act of malicious damage by a third party destroyed her livelihood. During this time, art became her lifeline: she fought her way back to health. Today, she combines precision with intuitive freedom. Her works in oil, pastel, watercolor, and charcoal explore light structures and natural spaces—creating spaces of peace. As a tribute to her loyal cat, who accompanied her daily even at work, she also creates drawings and linocuts.
Away from the computer, towards the material: she leaves technology behind. She has arrived home – determined to continue her artistic journey relentlessly.
