About this artwork
This work is the result of a deep emotional journey, an exploration of the contrast between aridity and abundance. Through the use of pencil, bright colors and graphite, I have captured resistance and adaptability in a hostile environment. The camel, a symbol of resistance, and the elements around it communicate a message of hope and survival. Each stroke carries the intention of transmitting strength and optimism to any space.

Kaulip Álvarez a multidisciplinary artist based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Mexico, Colombia, Tunisia, the United States, and Romania. Through her diversely themed works, she portrays the spaces that surround us and that we often neither see nor feel. Álvarez's most recent collection is realized with pencils and colored pencils on paper.
