About this artwork
The female figure, rendered in electric blue, occupies the space, traversing the painting in a sensual, provocative, and assertive pose. Powerful black outlines structure the body, while the acid green and pink of the background create an almost electric chromatic tension.
Painted on a cellulose panel, the material remains intentionally present: overlays, scratches,… drips, splashes, and traces of the artist's hand give the work its raw character. At the crossroads of outsider art, street art, and contemporary figuration, Kaza does not seek to represent an ideal body, but rather a presence, an energy.

« "You have to draw in the light and shadow, the shapes and the colours." »
Working primarily with acrylics, inks, and markers, Kaza develops a spontaneous pictorial style, made up of layering, textures, and contrasts. Each work is constructed as an encounter between energy, matter, and light, leaving the viewer free to project their own story onto it.
Her series, such as Human Masks, Lola, Goddesses, and Slogans, explore our relationship with ourselves and others, between fragility, strength, and resilience. Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in France and internationally, in galleries, heritage sites, and other venues.
