About this artwork
Welcomed Interuption, 2019, Vintage ephemera, repurposed hat, & fabric on canvas, 46 x 38", $6,100
My work is meant to recognize and honor the past while acknowledging the present and hinting at the future. I specifically use vintage ephemera as a collage medium as a way to pay homage to past memories and lives.

« Using vintage ephemera in my work is a way to pay homage to those memories, those lives. In a world that is becoming more digital each day, I’m driven to bring new life to objects that may otherwise be lost and deteriorated in time. »
