About this artwork
When I opened the storage box of this work last year (2024), I was surprised to find semi-living creatures resembling small… worms. (It was possible to avoid this with a quick check via internet.) They had eaten the horns, grinding it to a pulp, and then crumbled into dust themselves. With some disappointment at the beginning, later, it has given me the sense that the work had been unconsciously imposed its meaning on itself in practice. I do not know its eternity within its current form, but somehow, the 'nihility' had occurred. Kenan K., born in Turkey 11 August 1956, pivoted towards art as a freelance oil painter in 2006. He largely adopts an undefinable style that falls between the informal and conceptual, developing unrepeatable, intuitive pieces imbued with unpredictable, experimental techniques. Often dancing between explicit themes and abstract concepts, his art evokes diverse emotions and sparks vital conversation, casting light upon the cognitive dissonance embedded within society.
