About this artwork
The Story Behind My Work
Nature and the cosmos have always inspired me because they remind us that beauty exists on every scale—from the delicate petals of a single flower to the endless galaxies that fill the night sky. In this series, I wanted to imagine a world where those two realms are not separate, but beautifully intertwined.
My paintings explore the idea that every living thing is connected to something far greater than itself. Flowers… become celestial waterfalls, butterflies drift like wandering stars, trees cradle entire planets, and moonlit gardens open into infinite universes. These dreamlike landscapes are not intended to depict reality, but to express a feeling of awe, reminding us that imagination can reveal truths that ordinary observation often overlooks.
I create my work as large-scale triptychs because three connected canvases allow the story to unfold naturally. As the eye moves across the panels, collectors discover new relationships between light, color,

Kenneth Williams, primarily self-taught and deeply invested in ongoing experimentation, creates large-scale acrylic triptychs that blend contemporary abstraction with recognizable cityscapes, landscapes, and historical themes. His technique layers transparent and opaque colors, expressive brushwork, and dynamic, atmospheric textures, skillfully merging representation and abstraction to strike a unique visual balance. Through his art, he conveys profound emotion, memory, and a sense of place, inviting viewers to slow down and form personal, lasting connections with each evocative and harmonious work.
