This spring thaw could almost be in my monochromatic series. I introduced enough color to capture the feeling you get when winter is finally abating and spring starts to release the frozen snow and ice into rivers and streams.

Kent Sullivan is an award-winning American artist whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Japan. His representational compositions are made with traditional oil painting techniques with a contemporary perspective. Sullivan describes his art as being not nearly as philosophical as optical.
