For Kerstin Schulz, colors don't just mean strength and energy. Schulz also asked himself the question of the shape of the color. Color is also a means of representation in her works, but above all it is a form-forming material. Schulz does not refer to traditional color symbolism, but instead experiments with the energy inherent in colors in her color oil carpets, color… waterfalls, color patchwork and color pouring. At Kerstin Schulz, color leads a life of its own, it experiences a sculptural statement in the work of art through the form. Form, color and content complement each other in their objects and merge into one.
