About this artwork
Tulipmania was a tulip craze in the north in the mid-17th century. Khatis, inspired a lot by nature, wanted to create this small series in his own way. She chose a model in order to geometrize it, but used a creative process specific to her dreams. Khatis uses different techniques. The acrylic, which she paints in the first layer, see several. In this work, the artist glued gold and silver shavings.

This canvas is varnished in two layers. canvas which was exhibited at the SALON DE LE PERAY EN YVELINE as well as at the Domaine de la Trésorerie in St Pryvé St Mesmin. This series of 3 tulips will soon be exhibited at the GALERIE LES INDECIS in BEAUGENCY in the LOIRET;

KHATIS, a member of the Société des Artistes Français, exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris as part of Art Capital 2026. An award-winning artist based in France, her paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationwide. She also sells internationally. KHATIS's atmospheric and vibrant compositions translate movement into color, inviting the viewer to imagine and, above all, to dream. This past year has seen a return to contemporary figurative art with a preference for botanical subjects. Khatis enjoys working on backgrounds with spray paint and painting subjects with acrylics. All the graphic elements she incorporates into her canvases are created with brushes and pens. Most of her paintings are finished with glazes of highly pigmented acrylic inks.
