This oil painting, depicts three San Francisco Art Institute students taking a rare beach day. It was a grey and cold , coats and wraps, black and brocades needed. It was the early 1990's, now frozen in time. The scene is moody, whirling and vibrant. One of them would soon be diagnosed with mental illness.
