About this artwork
With this work, I would like to invite you to engage with the topic of "book burning", to address current events, and at the same time express the wish that human rights are respected and upheld.
Given its topicality, I would like to see this artwork displayed in a public exhibition.
The artwork is based on a natural oak board, onto which I have attached "cut-off" books with wood glue. A "corrupted" flame, formed from air-drying modeling clay,… winds its way across it.

With his creative perspective, continuous willingness to learn, and interest in new techniques
With great passion for the ideas, which often only develop during the process, Kim Niklas George creates unique works.
With stories,
with emotions
with humor,
with bright colors
and especially:
with heart
He uses acrylic paints and woodwork, incorporating his self-taught background as a technical product designer/engineer in mechanical engineering into his art. He prefers working with relief-like 3D elements and varies his painting surfaces, with symbolism and humorous titles playing a special role. His works combine themes such as "David versus Goliath," music, and self-irony. Artistically, he creates powerful, emotional, and meaningful works that not only inspire but also employ empathetic characters like mice to convey a sense of compassion, solidarity, and joyful courage.
