Kindrie completed a small series of whale paintings a while ago and this one symbolized the great dive into truth, where we must search within ourselves fo authenticity.
All of the whale paintings in this series began as intuitive paintings, where Kindrie began to work with only a… feeling or presence of the subjects. Each one is filled with healing energy.

« Paper, canvas and bronze... I strive to convey the true spirit of animal and fantasy subjects through my work. »
Kindrie Grove, a Candian sculptor, painter and author, has exhibited throughout Canada and the United States. Growing up on a horse farm, being surrounded by animals served as her earliest inspiration for creating art. A mixture of impressionism with a realistic approach, her works convey the spirits and personalities of animals and wildlife. Grove paints using oils on canvas and her sculptures are created using polymer clay, then cast in bronze using the lost wax method.
