About this artwork
In this artwork, I wanted to capture the playful and vibrant spirit of pop art with bright colors and symbolic forms. The green dog, the central figure, embodies joy and innocence, while the red lips and the word "joke" add a mischievous wink. This painting brings a playful and colorful energy, ready to transform your interior into a space full of life and smiles.

Ophélie Simonet, also known as KOA, is a self-taught painter born in 1987 in La Rochelle, France. Inspired by pop culture, 90s nostalgia, and her synesthesia, she favors a neo-pop, graphic, minimalist, and colorful style, celebrating the childlike nature of art while challenging academic conventions. Through a playful and unconventional energy, her works radiate good vibes and invite us to rediscover the audacity of simplicity, awakening the child within each of us and instilling contagious joy.
