Komal Shahid is an artist based in Pakistan whose works have been exhibited nationally and in South Korea. She describes her compositions as resonating with societal dogmas and stigmas. In addition, Shahid asks consciously or unconsciously embeds her concerns, questions, and perceptions through her distinctive visual language. She primarily creates with watercolors, fusing traditional and contemporary styles of miniature painting.
