A multidisciplinary artist turned painter, Koni Boros' background spans acting to fashion design. Her technique employs layers of paint and collage, disrupted through scraping and covering, fostering a creation-destruction dynamic resonating with life's cycles - a chaotic unpredictability that adds authenticity. Drawing on the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, her works echo existence, capture fleeting moments and the beauty of imperfection, like scars on a weathered wall or erosion in landscapes. Her art, expressive of impermanence and discovery, prompts viewers towards nostalgia, introspection, and an appreciation for life's ever-changing rhythm.
