"ACTION!!" is an interactive kinetic sculpture that combines an old 8 mm film viewer from Japan with modern technology. Equipped with two DC motors and red propellers, the work reacts dynamically to sounds: the rotors and the illuminated word "ACTION!" vary in rotation speed and brightness depending on the volume. The adjustable sensitivity of the sound detector allows the object to be adapted to different environments, whereby it actively interacts…
