About this artwork
In my work with Italian wire mesh I seek the freedom to explore forms and spaces beyond traditional sculpture. My sculptures begin as two-dimensional sketches that transform into three-dimensional grid structures, activating the space around them. Viewers are invited to change perspective and discover the fleeting images that emerge from different angles - a face, a galaxy, an eye. These visual puzzles that unfold in space challenge our perception…
and remind us that reality is often a matter of perspective. My craft process is intensive and detail-oriented, and each work is a testament to the connection between craft and illusion, between reality and perception.
