About this artwork
As the creator of "Object 68", I have created a piece that captures the essence of nature in a modern medium. The artwork is made of plexiglass, carefully cut to a diameter of 200 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. It embodies the shape of an organic mesh, inspired by the grace and complexity of foliage.
The optical coating on the Plexiglas is the heart of the work. It brings the art object to life by absorbing and reflecting light, creating a continuous… play of colors that changes with the viewing angle. This gives the object an intangible quality and depth that invites the viewer into a dialogue with the work.
