About this artwork
In this sculpture, I've harmonized the enduring strength of stone with the warm, organic nature of wood to create a freestanding piece that speaks to the balance of permanence and life. The raw texture against the smooth contours invites a dance of light and shadow, symbolizing resilience and growth. It's a piece that will infuse any home with a serene yet potent energy, fostering an atmosphere of contemplation and tranquility.

Krasimir Mitov, a multidisciplinary sculptor, has honed his craft through materials like clay, stone, metal, cement, and wood. Masterfully leveraging these elements, Mitov's sculptures are rooted in simplicity and reflect a profound focus on the entirety, rather than isolated details. Breath-taking and evocative, his work serves as a non-narrative suggestion, triggering deeply personal interpretations in its viewers.
