About this artwork
A dance, a trance, a call to vital energy, this birdman is inhabited like a shaman.
The colors remind us of Native American colors,
Warm and cold, these colors intertwine like water and fire to bring a visual balance

« Painting is about our humanity. »
KREES is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been nationally and in Italy. She describes her art as following two lines of work, one being an intuitive search for form and color, while the other is a quest for the sacred that is portrayed through symbols, messages, and colors. KREES's distinctive fusion of surrealism with cubism is manifested through acrylics and oils on linen or wood.
