About this artwork
This is a mountain landscape inspired by life in the Rocky Mountains of the American West depicting an eagle flying above the horizon. It is a collage of handmade papers. Materials used include: acrylic, bamboo, Japanese Chiyogami Paper, hand embossed mulberry paper from Thailand, other handmade papers, and gilding flakes. Edges are finished and covered with bamboo, no framing necessary.

Kris Lee is a painter and textile artist based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally.
