This painting features an adorable sleepy dog resting on a glorious striped sofa in an English country home garden room.
The room looks cozy and inviting with a lovely view of the greenery of the countryside through the window.
I’m so happy with how this new oil painting looks! It has such a sweet, happy feeling and the color palette is just lovely! The sofa with its bold stripes is fun to look at. The little dog is having a nice afternoon nap… and the view through the window is so pretty. I painted with every color of green I had to capture the light and dewey colors out in the garden. I had fun painting the colorful flowers and am pleased with how lifelike the glass vase looks!
