Emerging Forms explores the space where abstraction and imagination meet.
Built through layers of acrylic paint, aerosol, oil stick, intuitive mark-making, and expressive gestures, the composition feels alive with movement. Organic shapes emerge, dissolve, and reappear throughout the painting, inviting the viewer to discover their own narratives within the work.
At first glance, the composition appears abstract. Yet with time, subtle forms begin… to reveal themselves—suggestions of creatures, landscapes, symbols, and memories surfacing from beneath the layers. The painting never settles into a single interpretation. Instead, it continuously shifts between the familiar and the unknown.
Created through a process of instinct rather than planning, Emerging Forms reflects the unpredictable nature of creativity itself. Areas of control sit beside moments of spontaneity, while energetic lines, translucent layers, and bold forms create a visual rhythm that moves across the entire canvas.
