About this artwork

Storm and Silence was born slowly, through many layers and quiet hours. It carries the pulse of contrast — the wild movement that becomes still, the noise that turns to breath. Colors shift like changing light after rain: deep violets, soft pinks, gold, and tender turquoise finding their balance.

I painted it without searching for perfection, but for presence. Each gesture came as a response to the previous one, like a conversation within myself… — between what wants to break free and what needs to rest.

It is a painting about that inner space we all know — where emotions calm down, and something clear, almost sacred, begins to rise beneath the surface.

Krisztina Megyeri, a Hungarian-born painter trained in Italy and Germany, infusing her multicultural background and deep connection to nature into her art. Her intuitive, layered techniques blend transparency with texture, balancing spontaneity and control, and often include scratched or drawn traces that evoke resurfacing memories. She creates abstract emotional landscapes using delicate yet powerful gestures, conveying harmony, transformation, and the quiet courage found in embracing both chaos and renewal—her works radiate meditative stillness and invite authentic emotional resonance.
I attended Scientific high school in Germany, 1983-92 Various drawing and painting courses in Milan, Italy
Ceramic school Cova, Milan 1995-98
Individual study in A. Minuti sculptor's studio, learning from old masters like Mazzolani the poetry of the female form,
Collaboration in bronze foundry for 2 years.
In 2018 I felt the urge to paint full time and since then I do it with great joy.
