Behind KuK kunst are two sister artists who paint each of their pictures together. They follow their intuitive impulses, allowing their individual ideas to flow into a single image and thus giving expression to their passion for color and form. Before collaborating, they painted separately for many years, but regularly attended art classes and workshops together to refine their techniques and deepen their understanding of color and form. They primarily work with acrylic paint on canvas or plywood. Their style ranges from abstract painting to pop art to representational painting. The use of color and its combination is their defining means of expression in every style. Their quote encapsulates the intention behind their collaborative painting: "Colors speak the language of our soul; the painting tells its story."
