"Kite"
This work unfolds through a language of reduction: color, space, and a single stitched line. The thread, sewn through the canvas with a sewing machine, was a defining element of a series of my works — a gesture that transforms drawing into a physical trace.
The wide yellow field evokes the heat of a summer day on the North Sea coast: light, sand, wind, and the quiet vastness of the horizon. A dense blue rectangle appears like a fragment… of sky, while areas of raw canvas remain exposed, allowing the surface to breathe.
The stitched line traces the fragile trajectory of a kite in flight — a suspended movement between earth and sky. It is a small attempt to hold a fleeting moment: a memory of wind, childhood, and the freedom of open space.

I am inspired by life in all its manifestations — from a dewdrop on the grass to clouds dissolving on the horizon. My work draws on both the visible world and realities beyond immediate perception, where a simple detail can become the starting point for a new artwork.
Rooted in my Siberian birthplace and shaped by a classical art education in Russia, my practice reflects a deep connection with nature and a long-standing fascination with people. I work across painting, photography, video, and digital media, creating multilayered visual narratives that explore perception, presence, and transformation.
Method of working with a camera:
Alongside planned projects, I photograph daily, guided by a selective and attentive gaze drawn to overlooked details that spark new ideas. These moments often initiate long-term projects, developed over time through carefully curated images from different places and periods.
