About this artwork
This ink on paper features a semi-abstract image. Composed of Indian ink and gold ink, it is worked with a brush with fusion effects caused by the addition of quantity of water to certain areas. It is decorated with points creating vertical or spherical lines formed by the puncture of a very fine needle. The work on paper then combines flat areas, false reliefs suggested by the flowing ink, the shine of gold and the real relief of the needle points…
which lift the thick watercolor paper.
