About this artwork
This watercolor on paper features a semi-abstract image. Made with a brush, it is worked with fusion effects caused by the addition of quantity of water to certain areas. It is decorated with points creating vertical lines formed by the puncture of a very fine needle. The work on paper then combines flat areas, false reliefs suggested by the flowing watercolor and real relief of the needle points which lift the thick watercolor paper.
This set creates… with simplicity and poetry the desired optical illusion between vibrations and visual rhythm.
The design composed of a background with chlorophyll nuances immerses us in a plant world, here composed of green stems, on which pointillism lines bounce. It is signed by the needle vertically at the bottom right. Poetic and inspiring, an ode to raw nature.
