About me
I was born in Böblingen in 1987 and live and work as a freelance abstract painter in Stuttgart. I have been painting and working artistically for over 20 years. I studied sociology and completed training as a Waldorf teacher and yoga instructor. These paths continue to shape my work today: through mindfulness, a slower pace, and a connection to nature.
My work
My Gemstone Layers series comprises 20 works in which transparent, interlocking ring forms are superimposed on natural cotton canvas. The canvas's structure remains visible and tangible. Each painting is named after a gemstone, whose colors and internal structure it reflects. In my new series, Gemstone Fields, I switch to brush and paint: dense, warm areas of color in earthy tones such as terracotta, burgundy, sage, and dove blue, painted edge-to-edge.
