About this artwork
"Pearl Petals" is a piece I created to express softness, elegance, and a gentle sense of movement like a quiet breeze passing through blooming branches.
I used thick, textured brushstrokes to build up each petal, giving the painting a sculptural, almost three-dimensional feel.
The palette is intentionally delicate: soft whites, icy blues, light teals, and touches of gold to bring warmth and light into the composition.
As I painted, I imagined the… petals cascading upward, almost floating, creating a vertical rhythm that draws the eye and lifts the spirit.
The light grey background allowed me to highlight the brightness of the flowers, letting them glow with a pearl-like luminosity.
Framed in a white frame, this piece feels fresh and serene, and I hope it brings a sense of calm beauty and quiet joy to the space it lives in.
It’s one of those works where I really felt the harmony between texture, movement, and emotion come together.
