Poppy is a flower of sleep and love. Its scarlet color always tells us about the brightness and fleetingness of love and its rapid flight in human's life. Since ancient times it has been known that poppy is capable of to lull the mind. There is a legend that the goddess Flora created the poppy in order to please the lonely and sad goddess of the night. Everyone rejoiced at the flowers with which Flora adorned the earth, and only the Night did not…
rejoice - she wandered, wrapping her head in a black veil, in sorrow because people did not love her, although she created stars and fireflies to illuminate the darkness of the night. And seeing how people rejoice in flowers, the goddess of the Night asked Flora to give her such a flower, so that people, seeing him, would love the night. Flora gave her poppies, flowers that bring people sweet dreams and dreams at night.
