About this artwork
Acrylic, soft gel, heavy gel on canvas.
This painting was conceived as a dance of flowers, with a solo white flower, gorgeous and the centre of the floral ensemble.
First, the direction of the flowers was sketched, then a great background, turquoise metallic, was added, and the sketch of the flowers was instantly brought to life.
Impressionistic strokes of lilac, light turquoise, and sky blue, unite the picture and set the rhythm of the dance, bringing… the flowers together, and creating an atmosphere of romance, of Greek passion.
