Cuban schoolgirls
My most recent painting in the series “From world with love”. My inspiration came from my visit to Cuba where I met these 4 schoolgirls in their uniforms (primary schools, secondary schools, students etc all wear their own uniform). In the harbor of Santiago de Cuba I saw these girls sitting on the “C” of the full-name CUBA. They were so photogenic and proud and so I made a sketch from them! I’d give a million to see their faces… when they come across this painting!
