This work inhabits the space between revelation and concealment.
Rather than depicting architecture as structure alone, I was interested in its quiet presence — the way ornament, shadow and relief can hold emotional weight.
The darkened perimeter functions as a visual
aperture, framing the scene as if it were glimpsed through time or memory.
Created with graphite, charcoal and dry pastel, the surface balances precision and atmosphere, allowing the… viewer to experience stillness as something almost tangible.
